For those of you who is in love with GameGrumps and Minecraft, look no further!
MINEGRUMPS IS HERE!
It's a free PC GameGrumps server that's been up for about a year now and it's been said that Ross and/or Holly created it. Those guys know how to bring us all together, don't they?
After intending to use the server for a few minutes - which definitely turned into about 6 hours - I found out that there's really fun Grumps-themed content such as towns with Grump themes like Mt. Grumpmore and references to their current Portal playthrough.
As a new Minecraft player, I was terrified about how my builds, combat, and general gameplay would be thought of; but in reality, everyone was really encouraging, helpful, and friendly throughout my 6 hours of gameplay. It was actually the kindness of us lovelies that I kept playing for so long and didn't want to leave!
The server even keeps up with current holidays and events, for example for Valentine's Day this year they're hosting a Valentine's Day Dance. One of the features, if you come as a couple, is that both of your avatar's heads will be on display for all to see your lovey-doveyness. Don't worry, you can get your head on the wall if you don't want to arrive as a couple too.
All in all, MineGrumps is one of the best things to come out of the Lovely community with mixing a surprisingly fun game with an even more fun atmosphere and community. It's well worth a try, even if you are a noob to Minecraft like I was because there is no judgement to - or about - you at all.
